Join OSU-Tulsa Cineculture Club and Center for Public Secrets for a screening of the film "Pushout": Winner, California Women’s Film Festival Award (2020); Audience Award at the Pan American Film Festival (2020)

"Pushout" confronts the criminalization and miseducation of African American girls, which has led to their alarming high school dropout rate and increase into the juvenile justice system (78 min).

Stay after for a post-screening discussion with guest Andreya Williams: Tulsa Service Year Director & Kiana Smith: Executive Director of Tulsa Legacy Charter School.

This event is free and open to the public. Masks are required while indoors during this event.
